By accessing or using Policy Vault, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Policy Vault is a secure, self-service vault for storing, organizing, and tracking your insurance policies, documents, and renewal dates. We provide the software platform; you provide the data.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You must provide accurate, complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

3. Your Account

• One account per individual (team accounts available for organizations).
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Your Data

• You retain full ownership of your policies, documents, and personal data.
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you upload.
• We do not review, verify, or endorse your policy details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Interfere with service availability or performance.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code.

6. Subscription & Billing

• Free tier available with core features.
• Paid plans billed monthly or annually in advance.
• Prices shown include applicable taxes; no hidden fees.
• Auto-renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

• Policy Vault branding, code, and design are owned by Instant Dekho Private Limited.
• No license is granted to use our trademarks without written permission.
• Third-party icons/fonts used under their respective licenses.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Instant Dekho Private Limited SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Instant Dekho Private Limited from any claims arising from your use of the service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time in Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delhi, India.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
